Are you a writer? Do you want to be an author? A group of local writers gathers every month, here in our community. Join us as we help and support each other.

Sachse Wylie Authors Group (SWAG) is a meetup for serious writers in Sachse, Wylie, and surrounding communities. We focus on becoming better writers and staying motivated. Critiques and short exercises play a definite role. Through lively discussions and a few speakers, we learn more about marketing and technology for our books, journals, essays, and other writing endeavors. Currently, we meet on the first Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Sachse. Informal gatherings between meetings are announced on our FaceBook page.
