Cindy Baccus, Dallas-based social media consultant, will be the expert speaker at the St. Jude Career Alliance Ministry meeting on Wed., Oct. 15. Ms. Baccus's October 15 presentation will provide insider tops for using LinkedIn for a positive career change. These tips include:
- Finding a job using LinkedIn;
- Using LinkedIn recommendations as great work references;
- Creating a positive professional profile online; and
- Achieving LinkedIn network success
For the past 21 years, Ms. Baccus has been dedicated to sales and marketing with a special focus on social media marketing. Ms. Baccus, who earned a bachelor's degree from The University of Texas at Austin, is a John Maxwell certified speaker, trainer, coach and mentor and holds a Hootsuite Ambassador title. She is the marketing guru for Outta the Box Marketing, a company that trains clients in successfully using all aspects of social media marketing.
In February 2014, Ms. Baccus launched her first book, titled Facebook Made Easy - A Quick-Start, Step-by-Step Guide to Facebook, about Facebook personal profiles. She has successfully trained more than 5,000 people in positions of Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, entrepreneurs, upper level managers and more.
The St. Jude Career Alliance is a ministry helping job seekers that meets from 09:00 to 10:30 AM every Wednesday at St. Jude Parish in Allen, TX. Everyone is welcome and there is no charge.
St. Jude Catholic Church is located at 1515 North Greenville Avenue, between Exchange Parkway and Stacy Road. Attendees should park in the northeast lot and use the entrance closest to the three flag poles.
In addition to speakers and presentations at Wednesday morning meetings and Saturday morning seminars, the St. Jude Career Alliance Ministry offers training in job search skills, support groups and job hunting resources.
