Scarborough Renaissance Festival celebrates its 45th season April 4May 25, 2026, in Waxahachie, Texas (2511 FM 66, approximately 30 minutes south of downtown Dallas). The popular outdoor festival is open Saturdays, Sundays and Memorial Day Monday from 10 a.m.7 p.m.

The cost is $30/per person which does not include tax and gratuity. The interactive mixology classes are led by the hotels talented Mixologist, Adam, who has explored more than 43 countries and worked at luxury properties and bars across the world. Tour is a 2-hour tour in the dark of the historic homes at Chestnut Square. The tour starts with audio and video clips of paranormal activity in the homes followed by a tour inside several of the houses where guests will learn about the ghostly hauntings that happen.

The tour starts at the schoolhouse which is on the northeast side of the property.

Children under 12 are not permitted.

Children 12-17 must be accompanied by an adult.

This is a very popular tour with a limited number of guests permitted per tour. Purchasing tickets in advance is highly recommended.

Experience the amazing diversity in wetland vegetation and wildlife while learning about the history and basics of wetland ecology. After a safety and canoeing introduction, spend about 40 minutes on a guided trail around the Heard wetlands, followed by free paddle time to explore on your own.

No experience is necessary for any of the paddle programs. All participants will be given an introduction to canoeing that includes basic strokes, boat safety, and flat water maneuvers. Minimum age: 7 years. All canoe & safety equipment provided.
